Kaleidoscope Kale
An extremely rare landrace kale ‘grex’ or ‘flock’. This is the most ‘Kale’ like of our perennial brassicas, which we grew for the first time in 2023. Not a clone but a fabulously diverse mix of different kales. Individual plants exhibit great diversity some with white mid-ribs others with beautiful purple ones. All seem to have delicious dark green leaves with some degree of true kale ‘crinkle’. I have yet to see how perennial these are, so plants won’t be available until spring 2025.
