Rarely offered perennial leek. Native to the south west of the UK & Ireland. Forms a clump of slender leeks which can be harvested from February until late spring. A cool season ‘winter green’ bulb. Babington Leek produces a ‘seedhead’ of tiny bulbils in summer and then dies back, re-emerging in autumn. So remember where you planted it!. Excellent sweet leek flavour for very little work.
Price is for three actively growing bulbs with leaves in a 1 litre pot.
